Introduction:

The surgery of hair transplantation is performed using the innovative techniques of transplantation of the follicular unit of the hair by the dermatologist – dermatologic surgeon Dr Ioannis Papangelopoulos and his team. Medical Procedures:

There are three techniques for Hair Transplantation:

• Strip Hair Transplant Technique (Method FUT – Follicular Unit Transplantation).The technique of hair transplantation Strip (FUT) is the one which is most widely used and it’s the most successful method of hair transplantation worldwide. This technique in its most modern & sophisticated version results in a completely natural result of the highest quality and aesthetic.

• The Micro Strip Technique. This method of hair transplant is an evolution of the strip method and it was applied for the first time from the medical team of Dr I. Papangelopoulos in 2007. The micro-strip is applied to the candidates that have no other way of obtaining transplants (i.e. with the classic strip method) either because of lack of elasticity of the donor region or in cases of a very limited donor area.

• The FUE technique for hair transplant along with the Strip (FUT) and micro-strip (MS) are the three methods of follicular unit transplantation (Follicular UNIT Hair Transplantation) and the only technical difference among them lies in the different way of receiving the hair follicles.
